By placing an order with GropeTuned you agree to the terms below. They sit alongside the Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of this agreement.

1. What you are buying

GropeTuned supplies performance parts and custom engine calibration services for Subaru WRX vehicles. Product descriptions, power figures and specifications are provided in good faith and to the best of my knowledge, but they are not warranties of any particular result.

2. Off-road use only

The engine calibration and the hardware sold here are intended for off-road and competition use only. They are not represented as legal for use on public roads in any jurisdiction, and nothing sold here is certified for emissions compliance.

It is the buyer's responsibility to understand and comply with the emissions and vehicle regulations that apply where they live and where they drive. By ordering, you confirm that you intend to use these products accordingly.

3. Performance figures

Any horsepower, torque or airflow figure shown on this site - including the analytical log estimates from my own VB WRX with the GropeTuned Spec G25-660 on 93 octane plus water-methanol injection (WMI) - is a reference result from one specific vehicle, on one specific day, on one specific fuel. It is not a promise of what your car will make. Actual results vary with fuel quality, supporting hardware, ambient conditions, mechanical condition and calibration decisions.

4. Modification risk and vehicle warranty

Modifying an engine's calibration or hardware carries risk, including the risk of mechanical damage. You accept that risk when you order. Modifications will in most cases void some or all of your manufacturer's vehicle warranty. GropeTuned is not liable for consequential damage to your engine, drivetrain or vehicle, nor for any loss of warranty coverage.

5. Your obligations on a tune

A custom calibration depends on accurate information. You agree to disclose your actual hardware, fuel and mechanical condition honestly, to supply datalogs when asked, and to stop driving and report anything abnormal - knock, misfire, fuelling faults - before continuing.

Revisions are provided in response to data and are normally returned in batches over the weekend. A tune is not complete until the data says it is.

6. Installation

Unless you have bought an installation service from me, installation is your responsibility. Parts should be fitted by someone competent to fit them.

7. Pricing and availability

Prices are shown in USD and may change without notice. I reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where an item is mispriced or unavailable, and to refund in full in that event.

8. Returns

All sales are final. We do not accept change-of-mind returns, exchanges, cancellations, or refunds for hardware or custom services. Confirm fitment and requirements before buying. Existing product warranties and rights required by applicable law remain in effect. The Refund Policy explains damaged, defective, or incorrect orders and forms part of these terms. Earlier orders remain subject to the policy in effect when they were placed.
